We have established a set of the clinical tumor sample-derived models for testing expression and/or physiological function of various genes and signaling pathways. Under collaboration, we are happy to share these samples with other laboratories.

  1. Patient-derived glioma stem cells
  2. Tissue microarray slides with varying grades of glioma and adjacent normal brain tissues

STR Analysis

All published cell lines used and generated by the Nakano laboratory undergo short tandem repeat (STR) analysis as a measure of verifying quality and purity of published cell lines. STR analysis data of our cell lines is will soon be freely available here. This data is also available upon request.


IRB Compliance

Patient derived tissues used in our research and cell line generation are collected in compliance with UAB’s Institutional Review Board (IRB) under the approved protocols N151013001 and N151014002.
